A downloadable game

A small note from the developer:

Hey there! Thank you for checking out my game "Rupert & the Fairly Scary Ghosts". This game is the very first game I've made with the Godot game engine and it's been so much fun. I've decided to release version 1.0 for you all to try - consider this as an "early access". I hope you like it - feel free to drop a comment below :-)

Meet Rupert!

Rupert finds himself in the awfully spooky situation of being alone in the middle of the night - just a step away from the towns graveyard. Well, that's not quite true, because there's always good old Groundskeeper Hitchfred who always claims that the graveyard is haunted. But ghosts don't exists.. right?

Playtime:

5-10 minutes. (It's a tiny game)

Controls:

Movement: W, A, S, D or Arrow keys

Use torch: 1

Place trap: 2

Action / talk with NPC: E

Tips:

The first Holy Candle is always located near the pumpkin place just north-east of the starting area.

When you are carrying a holy candle your avatar in the upper left corner is replaced by a lit holy candle.

Plan your routes - especially if you have multiple ghost chasing you.

There is only one holy candle active a time. When you have closed a grave successfully a new one will appear somewhere on the map

Very fun game!! The art is very cute and the gameplay is fun as well.

The only things I noticed that I think you could improve:

- When you move up or down the character speed decrease, which makes the movement a little bit weird;

- It would be nice if the trees had collisions.

Also, loved the forest part and the speed decrease you get when you enter it. Very good game, keep up the good work! ;)
